Tipping the scales at just under 300 pounds, 13-year-old Joey Fishell of San Diego agreed to travel to Tijuana with his mother. Instead of landing on Avenida Revolucion like most tourists do, they made a bee line for one of the city’s weight-loss-surgery clinics.
