A local paycheck cash advance provider was robbed on Monday, the Iowa City Police Department said. Police said they responded to Advance America, 1705 S. First Ave., around 2:32 p.m. after receiving a report that a suspect allegedly entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money.
