Hurricane Center director will not resign amid staff rebellion (Sarasota Herald-Tribune)

MIAMI — The new director of the National Hurricane Center, under fire from staff members who want him ousted, said Friday that he doesn’t plan to resign but he will if that would benefit the staff and the public.
