Plastic surgeons have been busy researching ways to repair wounds and extreme facial trauma. From stem cells to facial transplantation, plastic surgeons published a number of studies showing leaps in helping patients heal, according to a recent issue of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery(R), the official medical journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
