For Lindsey Hawkins and her mom, Barb Mueller, Children’s Mercy Hospital has been a part of life nearly since she was born. “Our pediatrician first sent us to Mercy around the time that Lindsey was 6 months old,” Mueller said. “Her first surgery was at 16 months.”
