Brent Bowen fishes eight hours a day, trapping scup and sea bass a mile from the Newport shore. His wife often waits at the dock so he can grab his daughter and she can get to her waitressing job. At night, in a housing project that once housed Navy men, he struggles to sleep, and dreams of fishing.
