Court affirms a local ruling (Laredo Morning Times)

An appeals court in San Antonio has upheld a local judge’s ruling that allows prosecutors to continue pursuing charges against a Laredo dentist accused of illegally practicing cosmetic surgeries.The Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio affirmed 341st District Judge Elma Teresa Salinas Ender’s denial of a writ of habeas corpus filed by attorneys for Dr. Carlos Morales-Ryan.
